R&D and production, education and research 

Since 2015, Mingkun has established a research and development department, and started to develop duralumin and ultra-high speed cutting duralumin appearance parts, the product series involves 2 series, 5 series, 6 series and 7 series. 

Every year, depending on the project, 10% of the project's estimated output value is used as research and development cost, which greatly promotes the progress of the project and the understanding and control of materials, manufacturing, and processes. And together with customers, we propose many solutions for difficult materials.  In 2018, Mingkun was awarded the major science and technology project of Anhui Province: research and development and industrialization of key technologies of high-precision and high-strength and high-toughness aluminum alloy materials for smart phones, which has been completed and achieved good benefits. 

In 2017, Mingkun signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Hefei University of Technology to jointly establish the Mingkun Postdoctoral Workstation of Hefei University of Technology, Hefei University of Technology -- Jiuhuamingkun Joint Laboratory of New Materials Research and Development. Hefei University of Technology has imported 3 doctors and a lot of masters to Mingkun. Through cultivation, initiation and absorption, Mingkun now has more than 60 professional and technical talents, accounting for more than 20%. At the same time, both sides share talents and laboratory resources, and jointly declare research topics, which has laid a solid foundation for Mingkun in the basic research of profiles and made great progress! 

So far, Ming Kun has obtained 2 national invention patents and more than 60 utility patents.

Under the advocacy and promotion of Professor Wu Yucheng, Vice President of Hegong University, the Hegong University-Mingkun Aluminum Profile R&D Working Group was established

Basic information:Wu Yucheng, male, the Han nationality, born in November 1962, member of the Communist Party of China, from Feidong, Anhui.

Incumbent:Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Hefei University of Technology, Vice President (at the department level), professor, and doctoral supervisor. 

From September 1980 to June 1987, he studied metal materials and heat treatment at Hefei University of Technology, and received a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in engineering. Since 1987, he has successively served as the deputy director of the metal materials and heat treatment teaching and research section of the Department of Materials, the director of the laboratory, and the director (director) of the metal materials department (institute) of the School of Materials. From September 1997 to December 2000, he studied at the Institute of Solid State Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and received a PhD in Science. In July 2000, he served as the deputy dean of the School of Materials Science and Technology of Hefei University of Technology. From 2001 to 2002, he conducted collaborative research as a senior visiting scholar at the University of Stuttgart, Germany. From January 2006 to February 2008, he served as the deputy dean of the Graduate School of Hefei University of Technology and the director of the Graduate Training Division. In July 2007, he served as the director of the Degree and Disciplinary Development Division. In February 2008, he served as the Deputy Dean and Director of the Degree and Disciplinary Development Division of the Graduate School of Hefei University of Technology. In July 2008, he served as Vice President and Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Hefei University of Technology. In December 2015, he concurrently served as Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Management Committee, and Dean of Xuancheng Research Institute of Xuancheng Campus of Hefei University of Technology. In May 2017, he served as Secretary of the Party Committee of Taiyuan University of Technology. In January 2018, he served as a member of the Standing Committee of the 13th Shanxi Provincial People’s Congress. In March 2020, he served as Deputy Secretary of the Daily Work of the Education Working Committee of Shanxi Provincial Party Committee (Bureau-Director level) . In December 2020, he served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Hefei University of Technology (Bureau-Director level) .

ESCALAB250X-ray photoelectric energy spectrometer (USA), D/MAX2500V ray diffractometer (Rigaku, Japan), SU8020 field emission scanning electron microscope (Hitachi), JEM-2100F field emission transmission electron microscope (Japan Electronics), etc. These equipments are mainly used to study microstructural changes, such as morphology and distribution of   precipitated phases in the alloy, their distribution and density of dislocations and so on. These equipments are indispensable hardware for high-end aluminum materials.
